Regency Derby porcelain teapot with cover, the body of tapering rounded rectangular form with a scroll handle and 2 gilt bordered oval reserves containing painted landscapes of Matlock Old Bath and Willersley Castle, both in Derbyshire, possibly by John Brewer, within a field of gilt scrolling foliate decoration, on 4 ball feet, the base titled in red, painted red mark, gilder's number "9" for William Smith, W.28.5cm overall, (cover finial chipped, spout ground, some paint loss to Matlock landscape)
