Early 19th Century Spode Felspar Porcelain part coffee set comprising 4 cups and 4 saucers, and 2 bread and butter plates, Dia.21.2cm, each with painted butterfly and rose decoration, and moulded floral, foliate, and ribbon motifs, within a gilt rim, pattern number 3501, painted red marks and one plate with rare puce mark, c.1820; pair of shaped oval dessert dishes, each with moulded and painted floral sprays within a gilt rim, pattern 2105, W.28.5cm, and a dish cover with a butterfly finial, pattern 3414, Dia.19cm, (plate with puce mark has glazed over foot rim chip). (13). (Notes: The puce "Spode Felspar Porcelain" mark with both London and Stoke addresses and the date "1821" is given as listing 3658 in Godden's Encyclopedia of British Pottery and Porcelain Marks, which classes it as very rare. Godden states that an example of this "1821" mark exists in the Copeland Works Museum, and a jug bearing this mark was previously part of the Godden Reference Collection)
