Early 20th Century Volkstedt porcelain 9 piece monkey orchestra or band of musicians, including pianist, harpist, bassoonist, horn player, etc., each monkey dressed in the 18th Century fashion, decorated in polychrome enamels and standing on a rococo base with gilt highlights, underglaze blue marks and impressed "V" numbers to base, tallest H.12cm; Sitzendorf monkey musician, and an unmarked example.
